The Western Dakota Association boys’ tennis teams will return to dual competition this week.
And slated to return to the court is Williston High School, among a handful of other conference matchups.
The Coyotes are sitting at 2-1 conference record with a .667 winning percentage.
Their conference wins came when they defeated Bismarck High 6-3 on Aug. 28 and Jamestown 5-4 on Sept. 9.
As of Monday morning, the Coyotes are tied with Mandan for the third spot in the standings.
But on Friday, they will try to break that tie when they host Mandan.
The match kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the Davidson Park Tennis Courts.
Friday is also the first home meet of the season.
In other WDA news, Legacy and Minot, which are the two perennial powers in boys tennis right now, will have a showdown of their own on Thursday.
The winner will have the upper hand in the fight to claim the conference.
