The Minot Vistas were simply too much for Williston to handle on July 10 as the Keybirds lost both games of their doubleheader showdown a combined score of 14-0.
In the first matchup, Williston was beaten by Minot, 8-0, and in the second contest, Minot came out on top 6-0. Camdin Miller was one of the leading hitters on the day for the Keybirds as he recorded a pair of hits in the second game of the day.
Relief pitchers Jack Heen and Reed Hanson also enjoyed a solid outings on the mound as Heen went four full innings and allowed one earned run on one hit during the first ballgame for the Keybirds. Meanwhile, Hanson pitched two and two-thirds innings, surrendering just one hit in the second game.
The next scheduled games for Williston, now 14-17-1 on the season, will be a doubleheader in Dickinson on Sunday, July 14 at Astoria Field.
