Farewell to fall sports

We take far more photos than we have room to publish, but that doesn't mean they aren't great shots.
Here are a few photos from different fall 2020 sports teams that have not been published yet in the Herald. The photos are from Williston High School volleyball and soccer games, the first WHS cross country meet, the first Ray/Powers Lake football game and a Grenora/Westby football game.

Jaelyn Ogle, a sophomore on the Watford City cross country team, runs toward the finish line during the Heen/Ihmels cross country meet on Aug. 22 in Williston. Ogle was the second fastest runner in the state this season (2020) and Watford City finished third in the state as well.

Noah Fredrickson, No. 11 for the Ray/Powers Lake football team and a quarterback and cornerback on the team, runs the ball during a play on Aug. 21 in Powers Lake. This was the first game of the season for the Outlaws and they defeated the Mohall-Lanford-Sherwood Mavericks.

Noah Schroeder, No. 21 on the Ray/Powers Lake football team and a wide reciever and line backer for the team, shouts while holding the ball after scoring a touchdown in the Aug. 21 season opener. The Outlaws went on to defeat Mohall-Lanford-Sherwood in this game.
