Williston State College has a clay target league for the first time

Slagle told the Williston Herald that out of her team of ten, six athletes have already shot perfect scores — 25/25.

“We are very excited about the new league,” Slagle said.

The Tetons will shoot for practice on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. and for score on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m., and Slagle encourages everyone from the community to come out to the Painted Woods Sporting Range to watch the team shoot.

The six week season will end with a Conference Tournament in Alexandria, Minnesota on Oct. 18 where all North Dakota Junior Colleges will shoot with the Minnesota Collegiate Athletic Conference.
