Following a third place finish in the MonDak Conference with a conference mark of 10-6; three players from the Williston State College Tetons have earned all-conference accolades.
Austyn Hester, Baily Bethke and Alan LaRocque have all been named to the 2019 MonDak All-Conference Baseball Team.
Hester, a sophomore infielder hailing from Gillette, Wyoming, accumulated a .311 batting average, and a .467 slugging percentage in 105 plate appearances through 27 games this season. He also registered nine stolen bases and finished the year with a .934 fielding percentage.
Meanwhile, Williston native and right-handed pitcher Baliy Bethke had five starts and six appearances during his sophomore season. He recorded 10 strikeouts and pitched three shutout ballgames, holding opponents to a .289 batting average.
As for catcher Alan LaRocque, the Williston State College Freshman of the Year maintained a batting average of .312, drove in 24 RBI’s and had one home run. A native of Great Falls, Montana, LaRocque finished the year with a .407 on-base percentage and a .442 slugging percentage. Defensively, LaRocque was 17th in the NJCAA with 14 runners caught stealing, and concluded the season with a .939 fielding percentage.
