Robert “Bob” White, 76, of Watford City, formerly of Williston, passed away at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Watford City, late Friday evening, June 29, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home Chapel in Williston. Rev. Steve Anderson will officiate. Interment in Hillside Memory Garden Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers Bob’s family would prefer that all memorials be given to the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Watford City.
Friends may call at Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 3, from 9:00 AM until service time.
Robert Duane White was born in Williston, North Dakota to Clyde and Marie (Jensen) White on July 11, 1941. He was raised and educated in Williston.
Bob became a part of Williston’s Opportunity Foundation in the early 1990’s. Starting out at OSOM Car Wash, you may also remember him from the Recycling Center or the Wise Penny. He enjoyed all of his job positions, He made a lot of friends along the way. He also participated in the Special Olympics, competing in bowling and basketball.
Bob liked dogs, western movies, farm animals and he loved spending time with family and friends. He dearly loved and was loved by the staff and residents of the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Watford City.
Surviving Bob are his brother, Lyle White; special friends, Patty Pippenger and Melody Lindquist and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Bob in death were his parents, Clyde and Marie White; brother, Lloyd White and sisters, Shirley Shellum and Arlene Brothers.
