Jacob Vaughn Bloxham was born on September 3, 1988 in Odessa, TX to Vaughn and Wendy (Sandaker) Bloxham. In 1994 the family moved back to Williston. Jake attended kindergarten through fifth grade at Garden Valley School, in district 8. The family lived on his Grandma and Grandpa’s farm.
In his younger years he played basketball, baseball, football, hockey and he loved riding bike around town with his buddies. He would say that they knew where every apple tree in town was (sorry apple tree owners). Jake was active in 4-H. He graduated from Williston High School in the class of 2007. While in High School, he became interested in motocross racing and enjoyed competing. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and lifting weights. He was recognized by Williston High School for his weight lifting achievements.
Jake enjoyed traveling with his family. A few places they visited were the Bahamas, Mexico, Jamaica and they traveled on a cruise. The family enjoyed countless trips across the United States.
He enjoyed family time at Blacktail Dam. Jake enjoyed spending time with his son, Kaiden. He also had a love for animals, and recently adopted his dog, Axel.
Jake had a good heart, and was kind and respectful to everyone. He was a hard worker and took pride in the work he did. While in High School, he worked for Vector Control. He enjoyed that job and enjoyed working with David Benth. He had various jobs in the oil field through the years and he excelled at carbide welding taught to him by Tim Amsden.
Jake was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. His personality, his laughter and his smile will be missed by all who knew him.
Jacob is survived by his parents; Vaughn and Wendy; his son, Kaiden Vaughn Bloxham; sister, Heather (Rob) Breuer and their children, Ava and Jack of Fairview, MT; brother, Joshua Bloxham (Shelby Hanson) of Williston; sister, Taylor (Avery) Knoll of Kalispel, MT; sister, Hollie (Nolan) Cunningham and their children, Carter, Jackson, Presley, Cash and Bo; brother, Brandon Bloxham, all of Idaho; maternal grandmother, Gladys Sandaker, of Williston; paternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Hobson of Idaho; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
