Work has started on a project to beautify Fourth Street West.

Williston is adding curb bulb outs, planting trees and replacing street lights, according to Caitlin Pallai, communications strategist for the city. There will also be some minor sidewalk, curb and gutter repairs. The work is happening on Fourth Street West between Main Street and Second Avenue West.

In early August, the city plans to close the parking lot at the intersection of Fourth Street and First Avenue West for repairs.

The project is scheduled to take until early September, depending on weather.
