After the opening of the 40th Anniversary for Entertainment Inc!, the hometown theater company is preparing for their newest holiday performance.
This year, Inc! has set their sights on a musical about family and hope in the Golden Days of radio. “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” will perform at Williston’s Old Armory December 2 to 6, which shows at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday and a matinee on Sunday at 2 p.m. The show is sponsored by Handy Andy’s Greenhouse & Nursery.
The story takes place in 1941, where homemaker Norma, her father Howard, sister Angie and young son Mickey are busy preparing for the Christmas Holiday. Since the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, America has been on the brink of war, and Norma’s Air Force husband Pete may not be home in time to celebrate. It’s all about one family’s faith and hope during the holidays, and finding the light in even the darkest of times.
The play is directed by J.C. LaBar, a longtime Entertainment Inc! veteran actor and director. LaBar shares the reins with musical director Mark Suelzle of Watford City, another regular Inc! collaborator.
Tickets are available at www.entertainmentinc.org or can be purchased at the door 45 minutes prior to curtain.
Next up for Entertainment Inc! is “What’s Love?,” three short one act plays featuring three directors and three casts coming up February 11 to 14. Auditions will be held the first week of 2022.
Rounding out the year will be the long-running musical hit from Broadway, “CHICAGO”. Inc! presents this award-winning musical April 22 to 24 and April 28 to May 1.
