The KFC on 14th Street West was robbed at gunpoint just after 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27.

The Williston Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a fast-food restaurant on Sunday, Jan. 27.

The robbery was at the KFC, 212 14th St. W, and happened around 10 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Williston police. Employees reported that two masked men came into the restaurant with guns and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses said one of the men was between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-6, while the other was a little more than 6 feet tall, Sgt. Detective Danielle Hendricks of the Williston police said. The men fled the scene in a small car.

Hendricks said police were still trying to get an accurate description of the car. Police are also looking at video footage from the restaurant.

No one was injured during the robbery, Hendricks said.

 No arrests had been made as of 7:30 a.m. Monday, Jan.  28, and the robbery is still under investigation.
