Senior officials from several federal agencies, including the U.S. Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of Interior, will speak with North Dakota energy community members and leaders about available resources and federal funding to spur regional economic revitalization.

This session is tailored specifically to North Dakota with a focus on the $300 million in federal funding recently announced as part of the EDA Coal Communities Commitment. The event is hosted by the Interagency Working Group on Coal and Power Plant Communities and Economic Revitalization. As the nation transitions to a clean energy economy, the IWG is dedicated to creating good-paying jobs and spurring economic growth in priority coal, oil and gas, and power plant communities across the nation.
