Missing man

Authorities are searching for a Williams County man who went for a motorcycle ride Sunday evening and has not returned.

Zackary Edward Baldwin, 30, his home about six miles west of Williston about 5:30 p.m. to go for a ride before dinner and has not been heard from since.

The Williams County Sheriff’s Office is getting assistance from the state Highway Patrol, which conducted an aerial search for Baldwin on Monday.

“We’re just trying to backtrack and gather all the information as best we can,” Capt. Verlan Kvande of the sheriff’s office said Tuesday morning.

Foul play is not suspected at this time, he added.

Word of Baldwin’s disappearance has been shared over local and state law enforcement networks. Montana authorities are on the lookout as well.

Baldwin is married and has young children, and was known to ride his motorcycle on County Road 5, according to posts from family and friends on social media.

He left home on a black Honda CBR, and was wearing a black and green jacket, blue jeans and a helmet. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Williams County Sheriff’s Office at 701-577-7700.
