Public Notice ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR XWA ENTRANCE MONUMENT Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the XWA Entrance Monument Project, for the City of Williston, North Dakota will be received at the Airport Operations Center, 14145 Dedication Dr, Mailing address 14127 Jensen LN Suite 200, Williston ND 58801, until 3:00 P.M., Central Daylight Time, July 22, 2020. At that time, the bids will be opened and read aloud at the Airport Operations Center, 14145 Dedication Dr., Williston, ND 58801. The project includes construction of the Williston Basin International Airport (XWA) entrance monument, a City of Williston welcome monument, entrance landscaping. The work consists of the furnishing of all labor and materials for construction of the proposed improvements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held July 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Airport Operations Center, 14145 Dedication Dr., Williston, ND 58801. The project has a 45-calendar day construction schedule from the construction initiation date. The project must be Substantially complete no later than September 24, 2020. The final completion date is October 09, 2020. To order plans and specifications, or for further information, contact Alliance Consulting at (701) 572-8100 or at 621 26th Street West, Williston, ND 58801, after June 19, 2020. Copies of the bid forms, drawings, specifications, and contract documents may be obtained from the office of Alliance Consulting with payment of a non-refundable $250.00 fee. Digital Documents may also be obtained for a fee of $25.00 from www.QuestCDN.com by navigating to the Projects tab and entering Quest Project Number 7165296. ALL BIDDERS are required to view the proposed project site area in order to familiarize themselves with the details of the area prior to submitting a bid. Drawings and specifications are available for VIEWING PURPOSES ONLY at the office of the CITY ENGINEER in Williston, (701) 577-6368. BIDDERS must obtain the bid documents directly from either Alliance Consulting or QuestCDN to be a registered bidder and receive addenda. Bidders obtaining copies of the documents from other sources do so at their own risk. Each bid is to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and is to be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City auditor. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bidders Bond in a sum equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid, executed by the BIDDER as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of North Dakota, conditioned that if the principals bid be accepted and the contract be awarded to him, he within 10 days after Notice of Award, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his bid and provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Bid Bond and Contractors License Renewal Certificate shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope attached to the outside of the Bid Envelope. Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid. For each Bid, the outside of the envelope shall be marked with the date of the proposal, the name of the Bidder, and acknowledgment of any Addenda that were received. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold bids for a period not to exceed 30 days from said date of opening of bids.
