MANDAREE, N.D. - Funeral services for Francine April White Owl Wolf, 22, of Mandaree, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Water Chief Hall in Mandaree. Rev. June Lockwood will officiate and interment will be in the White Owl Family Cemetery, East of Mandaree. Wake services will begin at the Hall at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Francine died as a result of a motor vehicle accident east of New Town, N.D., on Friday evening, May 25, 2007.

Francine was born at Watford City, on April 25, 1985, the daughter of Donald Young Bird and Christine White Owl Gonzales. She was raised and educated at Mandaree. She was raised in the Congregational Faith. As a young woman she lived for a time in Denver, and Fairview, Mont. She worked at the Four Bears Casino and in the Tribal Office of the Three Affiliated Tribes.

She was a member of the Dripping Dirt Clan and a Child of the Chicken Clan.

She is survived by her husband, Aaron Sr.; two sons, Aaron and Anthony; two daughters, Angelica, and Ariel, all at home in Mandaree; her Parents, Donald Young Bird, and Christine and Trinidad Gonzales, all of Mandaree; three brothers, Benner White Owl, of Watford City, and Clancy Young Bird and Lyman Young Bird, both of Mandaree; three sisters, Leeann Rose Gonzales, and Sandy and Mandi Young Bird, all of Mandaree. Paternal grandparents LeRoy and Marlene Young Bird, of Mandaree, also survive.

Her maternal grandparents, Frank and Nina White Owl, preceded her in death.

Fulkerson Funeral Home of Watford City is assisting the family.
