A Sidney, Mont., driver rear-ended a Fairview driver on Monday morning, according to a North Dakota Highway Patrol report.

Ted Karst, 34, Fairview, was stopped on U.S. Highway 2 facing west, waiting to make a left turn about 10 miles west of Williston. At 9:25 a.m. Vercy Faircloth, 45, Sidney, Mont., traveling west, struck Karst's trailer. Faircloth's vehicle then entered the north ditch and came to rest facing northwest while Karst pulled onto the north shoulder of Highway 2.

Faircloth was injured in the accident and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center. Faircloth had a passenger, Kodi Wagner, 19, of Kalispell, Mont. who wasn't injured.

Faircloth was cited for care required.
