Truck Wash Express – Williston, LLC recently announced development of the first-of-its-kind truck wash located in Williston. Truck Wash Express is an automatic truck wash facility located in Williston that uses state-of-the-art equipment, processes and detergents to provide a high-quality wash quickly and inexpensively. Built for the Bakken, it is designed to handle a high volume of trucks and trailers in its three wash bays.
Located adjacent to Love’s Truck Service Plaza at the intersection of County Road 6 and US 2/85 just north of Williston, Truck Wash Express is conveniently and centrally located in the heart of the Bakken.
There are thousands of trucks operating in the Bakken and few options to clean them. The dust, dirt, mud, road salt, chemicals, oil and diesel fuel that cover these trucks are all detrimental to the trucks, trailers and equipment. They shorten equipment life, increase maintenance requirements, increase vehicle weight and generally make the trucks look bad. Truck Wash Express addresses these problems.
Until now, there have been few options to clean trucks and trailers quickly, economically and thoroughly. The wash process can take hours after an extended wait for an open bay. Time lost is money lost. Truck Wash Express will change that.
Truck Wash Express is environmentally friendly. Using 70 percent to 80 percent recycled water, the facility has a low-water footprint. Runoff is filtered and cleaned so the eventual discharge meets or exceeds environmental requirements mandated by city, county, state and federal regulations. Sludge is collected, cleaned and disposed of properly.
The Truck Wash Express process is an environmentally friendly solution to a messy and potentially expensive problem for the trucking operator.
The Truck Wash team is composed of professionals with years of development, equipment and wash process experience. Led by Chris Storm with more than 30 years of project development experience, the team includes Steve Gaudreau, nationally known for his 20 years of experience in developing training, maintenance and operating protocols for the vehicle wash industry, and Michael Snow, also a 20-year veteran in the vehicle wash industry and one of its leading experts on equipment design, fabrication and operation.
