The third-seeded Crusaders swept past No. 5 New Town 3-0, and No. 6 Parshall upset No. 4 Trenton in a tightly-fought 3-1 match.
Trinity Christian's hitting attack was in high gear on Thursday, pushing the Crusaders to victory.
Sophomore Alice Trottier led Trinity Christian with eight kills, and senior Ciara Walker and junior Whitney Kitzan had seven each.
"Alice is beginning to be able to hit anything out there," said coach Beth Zarling. "She's learning when to tip and when to go for the kill."
Trinity Christian set the tone early with an 11-1 run to start the match, including a pair of aces each from Harger and Megan Telehy, and two kills each from Harger and Kitzan.
Setting up the attack was senior Megan Herr, who had 21 assists for the Crusaders. Walker led the team with nine digs, and Trottier had five aces.
Trinity Christian will play Divide County on Monday in the second game of the Region 8 tournament in Tioga.
"We played them in the regular season well," Zarling said. "The scores were pretty close."
The the second game of the night, Parshall stunned Trenton by winning the first two games, 25-20 and 25-21. The Tigers looked like they had gotten some traction with a 25-23 victory in the third game, but a nailbiting fourth game went to the Braves 28-26.
