Judith Erickson Judith Erickson, 94, Williston, formerly of rural Epping, died on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at the Bethel Lutheran Home, Williston. Her funeral service is at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in the Bethel Lutheran Home Chapel, Williston. The Rev. Steve Anderson is officiating. Interment is in the family lot at the Epping Cemetery, Epping. Judith was born on Jan. 1, 1915, at rural Epping, the daughter of Joseph and Lena (Timboe) Jorgenson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was raised and educated in the Epping area, graduating from Epping High School in 1932. On June 15, 1938, Judith was united in marriage to Clarence Erickson. They lived on the family farm north of Epping for 42 years, where they raised their family, Hereford cattle and small grains. They retired in 1980 and moved to Williston. Clarence died on April 11 of this year. Judith enjoyed living at the Briarwood in Williston until her death. She was a member of the Epping Lutheran Church and was involved in A.L.C.W. and served on the Marshall Township board. Judith enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting and raising vegetable and flower gardens. She is survived by one son, Clifford (Donna) Erickson, Sturgis, Ky.; two daughters, Louise (Robert) Halseth, Epping and Esther (Gary) Beazley, Bismarck; five grandchildren, Judi Le Erickson, Kagel Canyon, Calif., Tom (Rebekka) Halseth, Mount Rainier, Md., Cara (Pat) Seemann, Rogers, Minn., Eric (Shawn) Beazley, Minneapolis, Minn., and Joe Halseth, Jamestown and two great-grandchildren, Elaina and Connor Seemann, Rogers. Judith was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; one sister, Ruth Jorgenson and two brothers, Ralph and Gustav Jorgenson. Friends may call at the Fulkerson Funeral Home, Williston from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and at the Bethel Lutheran Home Chapel one hour prior to services. |
