A report from the Williston Police Department states it received a call from the Walsh County Sheriff's Department that three juveniles, two males and one female, had stolen a vehicle and some firearms near Grafton. The Walsh County officials told officers in Williston they had reason to believe the juveniles may be in the Williston area.
On Thursday morning, officers spotted a 1997 Ford half-ton pickup truck in the Williston McDonald's parking lot that matched the description given by the Walsh County Sheriff's Department.
Officers spotted three juveniles walking away from the pickup. They were stopped and the pickup was identified as the one reported by Walsh County.
The three juveniles were arrested at 8:23 a.m. A rifle, a shotgun and a hunting knife were found inside the vehicle. As of Friday morning, the three juveniles had returned to Walsh County.
