It is very important that all are counted, “It’s in Our Hands”. We need to be aware that the dollars that comes from our share of the National and State budgets depends on the number of citizens we tally in this next census. Businesses such as restaurants, clothing store, entertainment also look at the population before they committee to an area. Anyone who has lived in North Dakota for six months and one day need to fill out their information for North Dakota and not where their families are living or have a home. Anyone who has worked here for six months needs to be counted here. We want the energy population as well as senior citizens, college students, snowbirds and hard the to reach populations to be award of the rules as it effects all of us. 10-10-10, 10 questions, 10 minutes for 2010. If you need someone to come and visit about the census, please call the Chamber at 577-6000. |
