Lady Tetons win tourney opener By Mark Jones/Sports EditorThe Williston State College Lady Tetons opened this week's Region 13 tournament with a three-game sweep of Dakota College on Thursday evening in Bismarck. Williston State won by scores of 25-17, 25-22 and 27-25. "We were a little slow," said Williston volleyball coach Lindsey Graue. "For being the No. 1 seed, I expected them to be a little more excited, but I hope that changes." The Lady Tetons led from start to finish in the opener. And while they played well enough to win the second game, they seemed to lose focus in the third game. Williston State for much of the third game before rallying late in the contest to pick up the two-point win. "We definitely have to play better," Graue said. Williston State will play today at 1 p.m. against either Bismarck State or NDSCS. If the Lady Tetons lose this afternoon's match, they will play again this evening. A win today secures them of playing in the title match on Saturday.
