An Amtrak passenger train from Chicago to Seattle is stopped in Williston after being struck by a semitrailer at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The incident happened about five miles east of Williston. No one was injured, but the two locomotives pulling the train apparently suffered enough damage to not be able to complete the trip.

The train and its passengers are sitting in Williston until replacement locomotives are secured.
