The Trinity Christian volleyball team stumbled out of the gate, but recovered for a 3-1 victory hosting Powers Lake on Thursday night in Williston.
TCS dropped the first game 25-18 to the Ranchers, but then swept through the next three games to take the match.
"The girls started off slow, but they pulled it together by the end," said TCS coach Beth Zarling. "We're always happy to get a win."
The Crusaders' serving was the difference, with the team racking up 17 aces in the match, including five from Whitney Kitzan and four from Ciara Walker. Kitzan and Walker each also had a team-high five kills, and Alice Trottier led the Crusaders with 15 digs and two blocks.
Trinity Christian will be at the Northwest Conference Tournament in Glenburg this weekend, and Powers Lake travels to play Parshall at 7 p.m. on Monday.

The Divide County Maroons made quick work of Watford City on Thursday night.
Mariah Jacobs had 13 kills and two blocks for the Maroons, and Ellie Gillund had 11 kills, five aces and two blocks.
Marti Quale led the Wolves with 10 assists, eight digs and four kills.
Divide County will be at the Northwest Conference Tournament in Glenburg this weekend, and Powers Lake hosts Dickinson Trinity at 7 p.m. on Monday.
