Williston Herald staff

The Williston High School swim and dive team defeated Mandan in a dual meet on Friday in Mandan, winning 115-71.

On Saturday, the Coyotes placed first at the Mandan Invitational with 645 total team points.

In Saturday’s action, Kaitlin Bolinske placed first in the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke.

Williston also placed first in the 200-yard medley relay. Shantha Trottie placed first in the diving event with a score of 325.15. The Coyotes will now be off for two weeks and will compete at a meet in Gillette, Wyo. on Oct. 9 and 10.
