The fogging is to begin around 8:30 and is to last about three hours. This is to be a citywide effort.
Aside from the low-flying aircraft, the fogging should not disrupt the outdoor activities planned for the weekend, vector control director Fran Bosch stated in a press release.
The product used is the same to fog by ground and the application rate is low enough that residents don’t need to take any additional precautionary measures beyond what they don't normally do.
