Patrick O'Neill

Patrick O’Neill, 79, a longtime Williston resident, passed away on April 24, 2009, at the Greenley Nursing Home, Oakland, Mich., close to his brother, Dr. James O’ Neill.

His Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Williston. The Rev. Benny Putharayil is celebrating and interment of the cremains follows at the Riverview Cemetery, Williston.

A rosary is prior to the service on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Patrick Paul O’Neill was born on July 22, 1929, in Williston to Joseph O’Neill Sr. And Faith (Delaney). He was a second-generation farmer in Williams County.

Pat is survived by his sister, Mary Kuschel of Bella Vista, Alaska; brother, Dr. James O’Neill of Clarkston, Mich.; sister, Sister Ann O’Neill, CSJ of St. Paul, Minn; and by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Thomas and Joseph Jr.

Friends may call at the Everson Funeral Home, Williston to sign the book on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and also at the church for the hour preceding the memorial on Thursday.
