The Williston baseball teams return to action today after taking the weekend off.

The Keybirds and Oilers will be in action this afternoon with games at Mandan.

The Oilers’ doubleheader with Mandan is set for noon, while the Keybirds will take the field this evening at 5:30 p.m.

The Keybirds are coming off a rough outing to Omaha, Neb., where they lost two of their first three games.

The Oilers lost four games at home last week — two to Wolf Point, Mont., and two to Richland County, Mont. Also, last week there were a couple of slight changes to the Oilers’ schedules. Williston will play at Beulah on July 6, while the Oilers’ home doublheader with Mandan on July 9 has been switched to noon.

Both teams will play at Bismarck on Wednesday. The Oilers will take the field at 12:30 p.m. The Keybirds will face off with Bismarck, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Keybirds will close out the week on Thursday with a home doubleheader against Wahpeton. It will be the Keybirds first home games in 11 games.

The Oilers will close out the week against Dickinson on Saturday at Aafedt Stadium.
