Joan Woessner Campbell, 51, passed away March 26, 2009, at home with her family, in Lakewood, Colo., following a courageous fight against breast cancer and leukemia.

Joan was born in Glendive, Mont., to Don and Dorothy Woessner. She moved to Williston during her grade school years and in 1979 moved to the Denver area.

She is survived by her best friend, husband and companion from God, Douglas Campbell; her three greatest earthly gifts - daughter, Lindsey Campbell of Colorado Springs, and sons, Matthew and Nicholas Campbell; her parents, Don and Dorothy of Lakewood; and her loving sister, Annette Hugh; brother-in-law, David Hugh and nephew, Elias Hugh, all of Houston. Joan is also survived by stepson, Ben Campbell; sister-in-law, D’Ann Campbell Jensen and husband Richard of Billings; brother-in-law, Richard Campbell and wife Carie of Torrington, Wyo., as well as five nieces.

Her family extended to loving friends and neighbors who blessed her life and her family‘s lives in so many ways, especially her “adopted family” of Casey and Debbie Baas. Thanks, deep gratitude and love to you all. Joan is finally at home with the Lord, all glory and praise to him

A memorial service was held April 4 at the Applewood Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge, Colo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harvest House for Women in Estes Park, Colo., www.harvesthouseforwomen.org.
