On Thursday, Feb. 12, Keith Dooley Jr., 38, Grenora, was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 when he lost control of the 2008 Ford car he was driving due to icy road conditions. The vehicle ran off the road into the north ditch and overturned. Dooley and his passenger Malisa Williams-Dooley, 39, Grenora, suffered injuries while wearing their seatbelts and were transported to the Mercy Medical Center by a private party.
On Sunday, Feb. 15, two South Dakota residents struck the back of a road grader on Divide County Road 21 eight miles south of Noonan.
Mark Spooner, 52, Noonan, was heading north clearing snow from the east edge of the roadway with the road grader when a 2008 Chevy pickup driven by John Gray, 36, Rapid City, struck the rear of the road grader.
The grader ran off the roadway into the east ditch and Gray’s vehicle ran off the roadway into the west ditch and overturned. Gray and passenger Shawn Means, 42, Eagle Butte, were transported to the Crosby Hospital by private vehicle.
