Kalmik - Stevens

It is with great joy that Vivian and Robbie Kalmik announce the engagement of their daughter Allayna to Brenden Stevens the son of Debbie and Darwin Stevens. The couple are the grandchildren of Richard and Verna Nicks, Merle and Madalyn Helland, JoAnn Stevens, and Adeline Pederson all of Wiliston.

Allayna is a 2005 graduate of Williston High School, a 2007 graduate of Williston State College and presently a senior at Minot State University pursuing a degree in Elementary education and a Masters in Deaf Education. She currently works in the International Office on campus, is Co-Director of Intramurals for the MSU Student Association and a Rockette cheerleader for the Minot Skyrocketts.

Brenden enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2004 and graduated from Williston High in 2005. He was deployed in 2007 to Iraq with the HHC164th Engineer Battalion (SECFOR) "Defenders of Freedom" National Guard United in Minot. Upon returning home a year later, Brenden became a soldier with the 818th Engineer Co. (SAPPER) with the Williston National Guard and currently works for JW Measurement as a field service technician.

Allayna and Brenden will be united in marriage at New Hope Wesleyan Church in Williston on Friday, June 19, 2009.
