Noah was born at 2:40 p.m. on Jan. 1, weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces to first-time parents Kristina and Jeremy Herndon, who are both Williston residents.
“I’ve been saying for the last couple of months that he was going to be a New Year’s baby,” said Kristina.
Noah arrived a few days earlier than his intended birth of Jan. 13.
“He (Jeremy) had two dates and they both passed, and I said ‘No, it’s going to be on New Year’s,’” Kristina said. “He’s been a pretty good baby,” said proud papa Jeremy, while changing his son’s clothes.
Kristina and Jeremy have lived in Williston for more than a year.
“Her folks moved here, and we decided we’d followed,” Jeremy said.
“We knew we were going to start a family soon, and we wanted to be close to family,” Kristina added.
Kristina is originally from Sidney, Mont., and Jeremy is from Billings, Mont.
Noah’s grandparents are Marie and Tim Williams of Williston, and Diana and Donald Herndon of Billings, Mont.
Kristina works at Mercy Medical Center in the laboratory and Jeremy works at Weatherford.
The parents extend a particular thanks to Carrie Raghib, registered nurse midwife at Mercy Medical Center, and Amber Knudsvig, registered nurse at Mercy Medical Center.
