Jeanette Faust, age 86, of Alliance, formerly of North Dakota and Wyoming, died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at Altercare of Alliance.

She was born Jan. 24, 1922, in Williston, to Benjamin and Petra (Hovind) Innis and was an Alliance resident for the past 12 years after moving from Wyoming.

Jeanette was a 1940 graduate of Williston High School and was employed as a clerk at Campbell County Abstract Company in Gillette, Wyo. until her retirement.

She was a member of Alliance Church of Christ, enjoyed crocheting for her family and friends, was very humorous and was a wonderful cook.

Survivors include her sons, Charles B. (Maxine) Faust of Battlefield, Mo. and Joe Clifford (Connie) Faust of Marlboro, Ohio; four grandchildren, Allison Wood of Texas, Jeffrey Faust of Mo., Benjamin Faust of Minn., Abigail Faust of Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Sheridan and Brenner Wood, both of Texas, Julia and Madison Faust, both of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Trinley Faust Jr., whom she married May 9, 1943, and who died Aug. 15, 1988; and two brothers, Benjamin and James Innis.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Alliance Church of Christ, 9371 McCallum Ave. with The Rev. Matt Lowe officiating.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle Christian Funeral Home and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at Blackhills National Cemetery in Sturgis, S.D.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Church of Christ Building Fund, 9371 McCallum Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
