Kolnowski arrested for marijuana

Heather Kolnowski, 22, of Grenora was arrested for ingestion of a controlled substance - marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor.

The arrest was made after the Northwest Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Williams County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a drug investigation at Kolnowski’s residence at 123 East in Grenora.

Her arraignment hearing is set for 9:15 a.m. Aug. 5 at the Williams County Courthouse.

If convicted, she could face a maximum sentence of one year in prison and a $2,000 fine.
