Area basketball fans will get a chance to keep an eye on some more local talent as the Williston State College men's and women's basketball teams added four more recuits.

The Teton men added three Williston High School starters in Michael DeLorme, Jordan Braun and Cameron McFarlin.

"They will help strengthen the depth of our backcourt," said Teton men's coach Hunter Berg.

The Lady Tetons added Watford City’s Molly Wold.

"I am looking forward to having Molly as a part of the Lady Teton basketball organization," said women's coach Tom Suelzle. Suelzle is a first year coach of the Lady Tetons and was Wold's coach as head of the Watford City girls program last year.

DeLorme, a six-foot guard, was the second leading scorer for the Coyotes last year at 13 ppg, and led the team in three-point shooting with 44 treys, shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc. He also shot 82 percent a the free throw line and added 27 steals.

Braun, a 5-9 guard, added 7.8 ppg and has a knack for getting to the basket and getting the ball to his teammates in traffic. He led the team with 107 assists and shot 44 percent from the floor.

McFarlin, a 5-7 guard, brings a strong work ethic and quickness to the floor, along with good ball handling abilities. He scored 6.1 ppg for the Coyotes last year, and led the Coyotes with 30 steals, while adding 81 assists.

“The rigors of the WDA and Class A basketball will help Mike and Cameron and Jordan adjust to the college game. We’ll expect all three to battle hard day in and day out. Our backcourt is becoming very competitive and deep which is exactly what we want," said Berg.

Wold is a 5-11 forward, who was an All-District and All-Region performer for the Wolves last year. She averaged 11.2 ppg and 6.61 rpg.

"She was a two year starter at WCHS and will bring athletic ability and some height to our team. Her enthusiasm and hard-work ethic will give us an added spark.”
