The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported a pair of accidents over the weekend.

At 2 a.m. on Friday, 24-year-old Joshua Uran of Palermo, N.D., was injured when he lost control of his vehicle on a gravel road.

Palermo was southbound on the road when he lost control and the vehicle began to fishtail. The vehicle entered the west ditch, struck an approach and vaulted. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels in the west ditch facing southeast.

Palermo was transported to Mountrail County Medical Center by private vehicle.

At 6:15 p.m. Saturday, 86-year-old Kermit H. Peterson of Crosby was injured as he was attempting to leave the back parking lot of Joey's Bar in Crosby. As Mr. Peterson was backing his vehicle, he struck the Farmer's State Bank across the alley. He then drove south through the alley and came to Central Ave. He attempted to brake but pushed the gas pedal accidentally. He crossed Central Ave. and went into a parking area where his vehicle struck a 1968 Chevrolet pickup owned by Les Bakken of Crosby.

Mr. Peterson then drove onto Central Ave. and headed west. He drove across Main St. and stopped facing west on Central Ave.
